# \[Legacy] DAO pools

**TrueFi DAO-managed lending pools** (tfUSDC, tfUSDT, tfTUSD, tfBUSD) lend to institutional crypto borrowers that request loans from the protocol. Loans must be [approved by the protocol](https://docs.brila.finance/brila-protocol/other-concepts/legacy-dao-pools/loan-approval-process) and meet risk / return criteria set by the protocol.
